Its obvious Cliff is holding onto his glory days as an athlete. When Theo announces his desire to play high school football, Cliff is convinced he’s passed along his stellar genes to his son.
Ah yes, the common everyday scenario. Surely many parents can relate to having a child perform so badly be if in sports, a play or in life that is sometimes makes you want to crawl under a rock and ask “Is that my child?”
It’s a funny episode watching Cliff’s excitement dwindle down to sure shock and all the while Theo is on top of the world and happy just to be a part of the team.
