Rhonda Rompola played with Nancy Lieberman-Cline on the Old Dominion teams that won AIAW championships in 1979 and 1980. She went on to become the head women's basketball coach at Southern Methodist University.

Anuncha Browne-Sanders was an All-American college basketball player at Northwestern University and led NCAA Women's Division I in scoring in 1985 with a 30.5 ppg average. She is best known, however, for working in the New York Knicks' front office and winning a sexual harassment lawsuit against coach Isiah Thomas in 2007.
