  • Season 6 Episode 25: Live and Learn

  • Denise gripes that she went to college for three semesters and it did no good. Her math skills really fail her here. If you follow the timeline for A Different World, the first season profiled her sophomore year in college, which she completed in the last episodes that dealt with her taking finals. If she completed two years of college, that's four semesters, not three.

  • Season 6 Episode 23: Off to See the Wretched

  • One thing that should have definitely tipped the Huxtables off: most rock concerts start at around 8pm. Baltimore is about a five-hour drive from New York City, which means that the girls are all dressed up for the concert at Vanessa's house at around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. That would seen funny to me, if they say they are going to a concert in New York that night.

  • Before Cliff and Clair go to Susan's house to snatch Vanessa, Cliff does a standing broad jump to find out how far away he should stay from Vanessa to avoid killing her. But, of course, they are closer together than that when they are in the car coming back home!

  • The group "The Wretched" obviously sounds like a group that would fall into a cross between heavy metal and punk. Given Vanessa and her friends' past experiences with their musical tastes (see "How Do You Get To Carnegie Hall?"), they don't strike me as the types that would go in for listening to music by a group called "The Wretched."

  • Kara speaks normally in this episode. In other episodes, she speaks very rapidly. Since when does Kara speak normally?

  • Season 6 Episode 22: What's It All About?

  • At one point in the episode Denise, Vanessa and Cliff watch a movie. When its over Vanessa says "Dad that movie was so much better than those old black and white things you make us watch."

This is an odd thing for Vanessa to say when she was really into B&W movies herself just a few episodes earlier (in #137 "Elvin Pays for Dinner"). She was such a big fan of those movies she even tried to get Rudy to like them.

  • Season 6 Episode 21: Theo's Dirty Laundry

  • At the end of this episode, Theo moves in with Justine's family. You never hear this referred to again.

  • Theo says that he moved into Justine's apartment after her roommate left several months ago, indicating that she had been living in an apartment for a while (probably since at least the beginning of the school year). However, just a few episodes ago, in Not Everybody Loves the Blues, he said that she was living in a dorm.

  • Season 6 Episode 20: Isn't It Romantic?

  • Cliff, Elvin and Martin recite the cheer from "The Day the Spores Landed", "All for one, one for all and three, four, five!".

  • Season 6 Episode 18: Rudy's Walk on the Wild Side

  • Goof: At the beginning, when Vanessa is begging for money from her dad to buy a CD, Cliff says she can clean the garage. But the Huxtables live in a brownstone townhouse and brownstones do not have garages.

  • When Clair handed the deliverer the money she said she had counted the eighteen dollars and fifty cents for him. But when she tried to look for the missing $2.30, she said she laid out the eighteen dollars and fifty five cents.

  • I'm just curious...do they not charge any tax in New York? Rudy was only accounting for the exact price of the sweater and not accounting for any tax. This might be a little nitpicky but I was just wondering. And when she asked Theo for the money, why didn't she just ask for the whole amount of the sweater instead of just the $2.30? It would've looked way less suspicious.

  • Season 6 Episode 16: The Birthday Party

  • In order to get into the basement, the kids would have to go through the kitchen where Denise and Martin are. They would have been caught trying to get into the basement.

  • Season 6 Episode 14: Cliff's Nightmare

  • During the Muppet portion of Cliff's dream, Gonzo announces that Cliff will be making the first delivery of a Koozbanian ever seen on television, but Kermit the Frog did a news report about the first Koozbanian birth on The Muppet Show back in 1976.

  • Season 6 Episode 13: Elvin Pays for Dinner

  • When Elvin asks Theo if he was ever just friends with an attractive girl, Theo says that he was, but it wasn't his choice. What about the girl he was seen with during Season 4's "Home for the Weekend?" Theo asserted that she was just his friend.

  • This episode marks the last time we see Sondra and Elvin's apartment in Greenwich Village.

  • Goof: At the end of this episode, Vanessa and Rudy are worried Sondra will fix the brakes in Elvin's car to go out when he's driving alone, as Humphrey Bogart did to his wife in the movie "Conflict". However, in "Conflict", Bogart's character killed his wife before fixing her car to go off the mountain.

  • If this girl went to college with Elvin, then how come Sondra doesn't know her? After all it was pretty much established during the third season that Sondra and Elvin went to college together.

  • Season 6 Episode 12: Getting to Know You

  • The family plays a wedding re-run ceremony so that Cliff can give Denise away. Why was Martin conducting his own wedding ceremony? Couldn't someone else like Theo play the part of the minister or judge conducting the ceremony?

  • It seems like Martin couldn't make up his mind on how to address Cliff. When Cliff meets Martin at the Cafe de Balzac, Martin addresses Cliff as Dad while sitting with the two ladies. Later at the kitchen, when they were drinking the apple juice, Martin addresses Cliff as Dr. Huxtable.
