Goof: Towards the end of the episode, Cliff Huxtable is sitting in the living room with his father Russell, Sgt. Stokes, and Homer. He is telling them of an incident that happened while he was in Bermuda.
He is using dominoes to explain his story. At first there are about six or seven dominoes standing up on their sides. The camera angle switches, and all the dominoes are flat on the table. It goes on for a minute or so with the dominoes lying flat on the table. Then when Russell, Sgt. Stokes, and Homer get up to go for a walk, the dominoes are standing up again.
Goof: The last scene of this episode, Cliff had tiles set up to show some maneuvers he did in the Navy. It showed a row of tiles standing up, then on the next shot all of the tiles were lying flat. Then back to standing up again.
Why would Tyrone have difficulties pronouncing Huxtable when he was talking to Cliff, but when he came to the house and Theo let him in, he mentioned his name (Tyrone Baxter) and Vanessa with her last name (Huxtable) pronouncing perfectly the "xt" he supposedly couldn't pronounce when he was talking to Cliff?
Tyrone: Is that it Doster Huz-able?
(He could not pronounce Huxtable)
In the "Cosby Show: A Look Back" documentary, you can see bloopers of this line. It appears as if the actor (in real life) had trouble pronouncing the name.
Tempestt Bledsoe said that this episode was one of her favorites.
