The Cousin Brucie Show

Show Summary

The Cousin Brucie Show is a 1968 rock radio show hosted by the legendary DJ Bruce Morrow. In the popular radio program, Morrow or "Cousin Brucie" introduced his audience to a variety of music genres from rock, pop, and soul, among others. Unlike other radio shows during that time, the show did not tailor its playlist to a specific demographic and hence, was able to reach a large number of listeners of different ages and background. Cousin Brucie is, in fact, credited for introducing The Beatles to America, which ushered the so-called "British Invasion" in the United States.
