Albrecht: Are you Eric Draven?
Draven: Not if it's a crime.
Draven: I'm not the same guy you knew.
Sarah: Tell me about it!
Sarah: (at the graves of Eric and Shelly) I hate the people who did this to you. I hate even thinking about hating them. But do you know what I really hate? It's when I'm talking to a couple of stupid graves.
Sarah: Daryl, quit following me, okay?
Albrecht: You're supposed to be in school.
Sarah: There are no classes today. It's a national holiday.
Albrecht: Halloween? Yeah, maybe when you get to be mayor.
Sarah: You got that right!
Top Dollar: (upon seeing the Crow) Damn, you're even ugly for a clown!
Sarah: So are you like an angel now, or what?
Draven: I don't think so.
Sarah: I do.
Draven: I'm too angry to be an angel!
This episode is based on the first movie of The Crow, which starred Brandon Lee. In contrast to the movie, where the theme revolves around vengeance, the series has redemption, as its theme.
The Incredible Hulk:
The way Eric morphs into the Crow when he becomes angry or upset may have been taken from the story of the Marvel Comics superhero (also a television series and movie), Dr. David Banner, who turns into the Hulk when he becomes angry.
