  • Are you kidding me? The R Kelly parody was hilarious!!! Rob Corddry back!!!

This episode was absolutely fantastic! It was a great way to welcome back the show after two weeks off. Stewart begins by mocking Senator Craig with an R.Kelly parody. "That's not how gay works..." We also saw the return of Corddry. I have to say that none of the correspondents left compare to Corddry and I wish he would come back. His dry wit and humor made the show and those left...well...I fast forward through most bits. They just don't make me laugh. Though I'm not one for bathroom humor, once again, Corddry made something that stupid funny. Riggle followed to discuss his time in Iraq. It was fine. The funny continues as Joel comes out and points out the guest care packages. The T-SHIRT!!! That was hilarious! "And, by the way, no offense to me, lookie lookie." All in all, very funny!moreless

  • TRIVIA (0)

  • QUOTES (3)

    • Jon Stewart: I didn't feel bad not having the Senator Craig gay sex thing to cover because I'll tell you why, it didn't feel like a Daily Show story to me. Wait, I'm being told it's the only reason the show exists.

    • Jon Stewart: Bush was in Iraq for a total of six hours, all of it within the 17 mile perimeter of the highly secured Al-Asad Airbase. His take-away...
George W. Bush: (clip) When you stand on the ground here in Anbar and hear from the people who live here, you can see what the future of Iraq could look like.
Jon Stewart: A giant heavily armed U.S. military base surrounded by a bloody sectarian free-for-all, he's a dreamer.

    • Rob Corddry: That's okay Jon, I don't want the money. You know to me, coming back to the show after a year for three minutes of anal sex jokes while sitting on a prop toilet, that's its own reward.

  • NOTES (1)

    • Trapped in the Closet

The segments "Trapped in Men's Room" and "R Party: Trapped in the Closet" with the accompanying hip-hop crooner are both referring to the R Kelly spoken-word songs released in DVDs entitled Trapped in the Closet.

The Comedy Central show South Park aired an episode called "Trapped in the Closet" which also parodied the R Kelly performances.
