  • The guys are back after a week off.

Back from a week off, Jon starts off tonight's show by touching on Easter and then mentions Exxon Mobil's executive, Lee Raymond, has been payed over $100,000 every day.

Moving on, Jon talks about the recent increase of criticisms from retired Generals of Donald Rumsfeld. He then rolls a series of clips which make Donald Rumsfeld looking foolish. For more on this, Jon brings in Senior Military Correspondent, Dan Bakkedahl. Dan says Donald Rumself didn't expect the level of insurgency three years into the way... not the insurgency from terrorists, but rather from the retired Generals. The Pentagon has released talking points in order to increase the level of support of Rumsfeld, but the single page of information isn't very impressive in Jon's eyes.

Back from commercial, Jon introduces a piece from Ed Helms. A town in Alaska has become the home of an enormous population of bald eagles, which are creating havoc with some of the local wildlife. Supporters of the eagle are feeding the eagles hundreds of pounds of fish, which some people disagree with, since it's keeping a large number of eagles there, only increasing the population. The town has passed legislation outlawing the feeding of the eagles in an attempt to reduce the number of eagles. We then see several shots of cars, buildings, etc covered in eagle poo, which Ed has renamed freedom frosting.

Back from commercial, Jon welcomes tonight's guest, Jon Mecham. The two Jon's talk about religion's role in the forming of the United States and how people on the far left and far right use religion for their own gain.

I really enjoyed tonight's show. All of the segments were good, and the interview was very enjoyable. Jon Mecham sounded intelligent and had a good sense of humor, which are traits of people who are great guests for the show.moreless
