Jon Stewart did not 'check in' with Stephen Colbert before the Moment of Zen.
Jon Stewart: The President had five polyps removed from his lower intestine and here's the interesting part, they were removed for political reasons. Apparently these polyps were not 'Loyal Bushies' and had to be replaced by more appropriate die hard Republican polyps.
George W. Bush: (clip) I'm not an expert...I'm not an economist...I'm not a forecaster...I'm not a poll guy...I'm not a lawyer...I'm not a pundit...I'm not a very good focus group either.
Jon Stewart: ...Mr. President, your not all of those things, what are you?
George W. Bush: (clip) I'm a sunny guy.
Jon Stewart: Isn't that unknowable Neil? Isn't the trouble with your job the not knowing?
Neil deGrasse Tyson: That is not the trouble, that is the seduction.
Jon Stewart: You just blew my mind.
Neil deGrasse Tyson: You carve through what is known and you come to this precipice between what is known and unknown and that is where the research scientist lives, that is what excites the person to wake up and run to the office everyday.
Jon Stewart: Why is it when you talk about science I get horny?
Neil deGrasse Tyson: It's exciting stuff.
Moment of Zen: Clip of CNN reporters laughing uncontrollably at a YouTube video and then saying that this will probably be a Daily Show Moment of Zen.
