The Danedyke Mysteries

Show Summary

The Danedyke Mysteries is a 1979 British miniseries about a country parson investigating the haunting of a village church. Based on the children's book by Stephen Chance, the story follows Reverend Septimus Treloar (Michael Craig), a retired Chief Inspector, as he tries to convince the parishioners at St. Mary's Danedyke that the strange happenings are not a ghost, but more likely a thief. The Reverend will have to rely on his detective skills sharpened over 30 years of service to investigate the mystery of the missing Danedyke Cup.
