Using his gift Johnny determines the wings are covered with ice due to an instrument malfunction. • I think my favorite of Season 2!

Talk about television where pretty much EVERY MOMENT is bang-on good and suspenseful, etc. this is one of these classics. I love aviation, which helps, but that aside, SUCH a well written episode.
  • Purdy and Johnny are on a plane, Johnny sees the plane going down so can Johnny stop the plane from crashing?

Johnny is faced with this hard task when he is haneded a cookie from an Air hostess. Johnny has a visiion of the plane going into a dive and one fo the engines exploding. To make matters worse Johnny has less than an hour to find out why they plane will crahs and somehow stop it.Johnny touches the seats of the plane and gets a vision of someone with a gun, its the air marshell. But neither the pilot or cop believes Johhnny until Reverent Purdy pulls a few strings and gets the pilot to talk to Johnny. He then works out that ice is on the wing, ice which should not be their. Johnny has to help land the plane, but faces some turbalence along the way. A fantastic episode, even Purdy was good in this episode.moreless
  • Whilst on a flight with Reverend Purdy, Johnny has a vision of the plane going down within the hour. Despite having no idea what, or who, will cause the accident, he desperately tries to prevent the inevitable before it's too latemoreless

An incredible, tense, nail-biter of an episode that is the perfect example of TV shows looking and feeling like a feature film. There's not one moment of dullness from beginning to end, if the scene isn't one of tense action, then its one of tender drama. The real strength of the episode though stems from the fact that it plays on the fears of the majority of people, that feeling that when one steps onto a plane, there is the lingering thought either in the back of ones mind or right at the forefront that there's a chance the plane might go down. It's this drama that makes this episode compelling and shocking - an episode not to be missed, unless of course it's being shown as part of in-flight entertainment.moreless
