  • A bit of a filler Episode

I don't get it, but that doesn't make it any less beautiful! Reuniting two long lost loves. Boy, did this episode prove my expections wrong. I had the feeling The Dead Zone was going to be another one of those crime solving series. CSI with a twist. Or maybe some religious propaganda about reuniting long lost families. Stuff like that, I'm sure you've seen it.

It's so much more. I am normally not the type that likes episodes like this, and I didn't really like this one, but I can't deny that it's one of the best I've seen so far. Even though I've only seen three.

The flashbacks didn't appeal to me, neither did the characters, but it's always so touching to see old people think about their past. The things they've done wrong, the things they wish they could've done different. John gives them a second chance, and I think that's what this episode is about.moreless
  • Worst Epi of pretty much any show I've seen.

    1.0
So, I have just started watching this show.. and the episodes before this one have been decent (not the best show, but far from the worst)... then i hit this epi and it almost turned me off the show period...

here's a few of the issues I have with this one... The story was extremely poorly written... I guessed the outcome within a few seconds of the initial set-up of the guy sayin he saw his old girl getting into a taxi... i mean, from that moment I KNEW exactly how the plot was going to unfold...

john's powers didn't work the same way they have thus far, and furthermore, I didn't buy his portrayal of an obsessed man... it seemed way too over-acted...

the characterization was off for pretty much the entire cast... I'm goin to stick w/ the show for a lil while longer, but if I see too many epis like this crop up, I'm going to have to write off the show least my eyes begin to bleed.moreless

  • A bit of a filler episode

    8.2
It seems to me that this episode is the first real filler episode of the series. The story was ok, nothing special to be honest, compared with the earlier episodes this season this episode was a little down beat. The only really intesting thing thnat happened is that we find out that Kate really still want to be with Jonny and she is hoping that if he finds someone else other than her they can move on. I am really enjoying the series so far it shiws plenty of promise, although i doubt this is the worst episode its definatly not the best. Thne acting was fairly good and at times the episode showed promise.moreless

      Sarah: And you saw it?
      Johnny: I lived it.
Sarah: The two of them, having sex?
Johnny: Don't be so crass, Sarah - they were in love.

      Sarah: Of a fantasy woman?

      Sarah: Other people, not you.

    • Sarah: I thought you didn't do ghosts?
Johnny: She's not a ghost, and I'm not doing her.
      Sarah: Then what is she?
Johnny: Probably, a combination of his memory and his imagination.
Sarah: Might as well be a ghost.

    • Sarah: All relationships hit speed bumps - maybe uou just had a vision of a speed bump.
