  • Very good.

    9.9
This was another great episode from season 4. I am now intregued to call season 4 my favourite season. So many good things happened in season 4 and this show truely has turned into something which should not be missed. This episode shows that The Dead Zone can do episodes involving plot and episodes which are not. So we learn more about Stillson in this episode and how he is soon to become married. More and more Stillson is becoming a bigger enemy i think Johnny should deal with him while he has the chance. Before it is too late. I totally love this show!moreless
  • The Temptation of Johnny

    9.5
Out in the wilderness, John Smith is tempted with power and riches. If only he'll turn his back on his mission and forsake the people and world he has vowed to save. You know the mission, don't you, the one we've just learned he has inherited from his father? Even more intriguing is to see how Johnny's retinue has grown this season. More disciples; more believers. And now we also have Miranda, who also determines to sacrifice herself for the greater good--but more specifically, John. (By the by, another solid performance by Don Davis as Miranda's father, Sen. Harlan Ellis.) Things are getting interesting, indeed. And maybe just a little clearer, too.moreless
  • Holy smokes... That was aweome. no it was really *really* awesome... It was powerful!!!! Can you feel it?!?!

Season 4 ended with a bang!! Wow, I'm still shaking from the intensity!! This was a great way to end the season. Absolutely brilliant. You can't end a seasons much better than that!!

Right out of the box, hats off to Laura Harris and Martin Donnovan for their remakable performances. This episode was terrific. Great plot development as well as arc development. things are beginning to fall into place. Slowly but surely they are. The writers, developed the Malcolm Janus character so nicely and so mysteriously, he has become one of the best characters inthe entire show. I haven't been this excited about a character since Christopher Wey hit the scene in Season 2.5.

We are seeing Greg Stillson in a different light here, but he is still capable of doing some dastardly things of his own, as scene in this episode. The lack of Purdy in this episode was somewhat dissapointing. The lack of Purdy throughout the entire season was also very dissapointing. He is acharacter that needs to be seen more. Where is Sonny Elliman? We have not seen him since "Broken Circle". Jake Traux, Stillson's other assistant, was seen briefly in this episode. Those last two (Sonny Elliman and Jake Traux) aren't much of concern however.

The last scene was so well done, I was literally shaking inside for about 5 to 10 minutes after it finished. It was so impactful and well done. Tip the writers nicely for a job well done!

In the end, a great finale to a great season, and now all we can do is wait. Wait for the future of a show, that has never looked brighter!moreless
  • This was a great season finale.

I liked this episode becouse of the fact that they expanded more on the Armageddon story that they was kind of scarce after Johnny got rid of his cane. Another thing that I liked is that it revealed more about Stillson and developed his character some. I also liked the way that they introduced his girlfriend to the series and I hope that they bring her back next season. One of the things that caught my attention and surprised me was the offer that was made to Johnny at the end of the episodes (or did I just interpret that wrong). One thing that I think they should of done is show us more about the guy who is obviously behind everything happening in the show.moreless
