  • One of the better episodes. Many memorable scenes and Gerald McRaney was brilliant!

Scars was a great episode that is very enjoyable and has some of the best moments of the entire series. McRaney guest stars as Greg Stillson's (Sean Patrick Flannery) congressional opponent Harrison Fischer and he does a great job! He reminded me a lot of Gene Hackman. The story itself was great and kept you wondering what's gonna happen and what's Johnny gonna do next.

The episode was packed with memorable scenes and it's good to see Sean Patrick Flannery back as Johnny's arch foe. The Armageddon storyline really intesifies after this episode. There was a great sense of conflict in this episode. External conflict and internal conflict. Especially with Harrison Fischer's character. I'm a big fan of the classic character against himself theme. You truly feel the tension in this episode. Harrison Fischer's speech at the end of the episode is priceless and is up there as one of the single best moments on the series.

In the end, this episode was simply brilliant and should definetly be considered as one of the best in the series. If you are a fan of the Dead Zone's Armageddon story arc, as I am, make sure you don't miss this episode.moreless
