Is the theme frequently used? Yes. Was it well executed? Quite well, great episode. Since there is little new under the stars I judge the episode not by how new and inventive the theme or storyline is, but how well it is executed and how interesting they made it.

Actually no word on any decisions for a 2nd season (although most predictions are gloomy). This 1st season only had 18 episodes. That said, the ratings haven't been great. This episode had its highest-rated Friday with a 1.5 in the adults 18-49 demo - but that was against some repeats. Can't figure why more didn't find this show worth watching.
