Gregory: That chauffeur is the fake cop that tried to kill me!
Sybil: Well, he didn't do a very good job, did he?
Gregory: HE'LL know I'm not an agricultural expert!
Sybil: Well, that's only fair! YOU know HE'S not a COP!
Sybil: There's going to be a county fair in Lotus. It'll be LOADED with agricultural experts!
After ONE day's research, Glenn Garth becomes an
instant...
Gregory: DEAD grain expert...
...I did what any ordinary fellow would do, I REINVENTED myself. That IS the AMERICAN way, ISN'T it, Mr. GREGORY?

Each episode's "hook" was a unique limerick which was revealed line by line as the show progressed. A line of the poem was shown just before each commercial break. The full limerick for this episode went like this;
From Washington came a young man,
To capture some worms in a tin can,
They con him, they frame him,
For murder they blame him,
'Til he holds all the strings to their plan.
The wrap-up for this episode (because the pilot ran 90 minutes) ended with a last line...
That's all for now Delphian...
