      • This show was pulled from the air by ABC fearing that the four young men's opinions were still too radical for the average American viewer. The network's action drew censure from many sides rather leaving ABC with egg on their face. A solution was found to get some conservatives to comment on the opinions of Davis, Hayden, Hoffman and Rubin, tack it on the end of the original program and air it after all. The pulled show would air March 21, 1974 with the added half hour of conservative comments by Jeffrey St. John and Fran Griffin. St. John was the "Spectrum" commentator on CBS Morning News and Griffin was the Illinois State Chairman of the Young Americans for Freedom.
