When Rob comes out of the garage looking for Manuel, who is supposed to be helping him paint, Rob is wearing what is meant to be an "old" shirt for dirty jobs like painting.
If you look closely, you will notice the fold lines in the shirt, either made from the packaging of a brand new or recently dry cleaned shirt. Dick Van Dyke must have put it on very close to taping!

The dog salon where Rob & Laura take Horrible is called the Puppy Palace. Yet, the aprons worn by the staff very plainly have "Poodle Palace" stitched on them.

When Rob is explaining his idea for a "Pygmalion" sketch, the characters refer to the dog star "Palley" alternately as a male and a female.

At one point, Rob rushes to the phone and dials a number. However, actor Dick Van Dyke quickly realizes that he was supposed to first look the number up in the phone book. As he's waiting for his call to be answered, he quickly rifles through the book, "finds" the number and says, "Yeah, that's the right one."

Dick Van Dyke mentions Marge Willet who was high school sweetheart.

Goof: Laura has no idea who Doug Wesley is but still immediately dials his phone number from memory when asked.

Because of her nervousness & the pills, Laura called Rob's mother, "Moo-Moo", twice!
