  • I really enjoy this episode. I like how Rob decides he will not just be someone's puppet. I really love the nightmare he has where Laurie is ordering her husband to stay and perform as a puppet. The nightmare scene is priceless!moreless

I really enjoy this episode. I like how Rob decides he will not just be someone's puppet. I really love the nightmare he has where Laurie is ordering her husband to stay and perform as a puppet. The nightmare scene is priceless! I also like Mel Cooley's line to Buddy about choosing Rob to go over Buddy: "We wanted an opinion we can respect." Now granted, I've never seen all the episodes of the show yet, and I only own the first season DVD (the season from which this episode came), but I think this episode is one of the best one in the series, all in all. I like how they have the Cole Porter song, "You're the Top," in the episode, too.moreless

    • Rob: Laura, there is no reason for your behavior! Laura: There is every reason for my behavior - I'm angry! Rob: Angry, yes, because I wouldn't behave like a puppet! Because I felt a responsibility to my employer! Laura: For heaven's sake, Rob, that's not why I'm angry. I realize you have to do what you think is right. I wouldn't respect you if you let yourself get pushed around by anyone, including me. Rob: Well, what are you angry with me for? Laura: I'm not angry with you. I'm angry with me for being angry with you. Rob: Well, is there anything I can do to patch up this little quarrel you're having among yourself, so I can get out of the doghouse? Laura: Did you ever think of trying a kiss? (Rob leans over to kiss her on the neck) Not on the neck. (Rob kisses her lightly on the cheek) That's better. (Rob kisses her lightly on the lips) Almost. (She smiles as they embrace each other and kiss deeply) Oh, yes. (They resume kissing) Edit
