  • Today is Friday, December 22, 2006!! Only a few days from Christmas Day. I just started watching The District one month ago. I must admit that this has got to be one of my most favorite episodes thus far. This story is just right, so warm and fuzzy.moreless

The District "Small Packages" is an ideal Christmas Story!!

It's got drama, love, forgiveness, restoration and holiday cheer galore! What more could one ask for this time of year?

All the staff are caught up in getting ready for the Christmas Holiday. But as you know, they must still function as a Washington, D.C. Police Department during this time. But nevertheless, it's a delightful mix of criminal activity, love relations and festivities.

The "nativity goat" has made his escape, and a "live Jesus" has taken his place in the manger. Captain Manion has made a promise to bring a young child's mom home (from prison) in time for Christmas. He'll need truck loads of "fairy dust" and a president's signature for that! And to add insult to injury, the Santa's are fighting over turf and the elves are "breaking and entering"; stealing all that they can get their tiny little hands on.

I think this was a well written episode, with lots of creativity. It kept me smiling and thankful that everything worked out okay, just in time for Christmas!

    MERRY CHRISTMAS 2006 :-)moreless
