      • Grandpa: Flop!
        Doris: That bad huh.
Grandpa: Worse, (wincing in pain) don't touch me there. Tender.
        Billy: Don't feel bad Grandpa.
Toby: Yeah you couldn't help it.
Grandpa: Well thanks fellas for trying to make me feel better.
        Billy: It wasn't his fault.
        Doris: Wasn't.
Toby: Yeah. He can't help it if he doesn't know how to run or jump or anything.
Doris: Look fellas I don't think you're being very fair to Grandpa.
Grandpa: Nope, nope it's alright Doris. I'm afraid I was just a little bit out of my league.
Toby: We were last in everything.
        Billy: Grandpa fell down alot.
        (Grandpa nods his head yes)
Doris: Well I'm sure that Grandpa did the very best he could.
        Toby: He really did mom.
Doris: Next year maybe he'll be even better.
(Grandpa has a total look of fear on his face)
Billy: Wait a minute I got a way better idea we won't need him if you get married again.
        Doris: If I what?!?
Toby: Yeah to a good runner.
        Grandpa: That's a good idea.
        Doris: Who asked you?
        Aggie: Cary Grant's available.
Toby: Is he a good runner?

      • Aggie: It be nice having Cary Grant hanging around the house.
Doris: I don't want Cary Grant hanging around the house. Aggie: How about Rock Hudson?
        Doris: Or Rock Hudson.

An indirect allusion to Doris' having starred with Rock Hudson in "Send Me No Flowers" (1964), "Lover Come Back" (1961), "Pillow Talk" (1959) and Cary Grant in "That Touch of Mink" (1962).
