Why is pasta a carbohydrate but not protein? It is my understanding that Wheat is mostly protein. I forget, but as best as I recall, proteins are high-quality carbohydrates. I think nutrionists such as Dr. Oz are misinforming people very much about pasta.
Also, what should a vegetarian eat? What are good sources of protein for vegetarians? It is my understanding that grains, including Wheat, are the primary non-meat (where meat includes fish) source of protein. I think that if Dr. Oz answes this question accurately, he must admit that Wheat, including pasta, is good.
