Boy Party / Girl Party
AIRED:
Drew has trouble getting another date with Tracy because Lewis and Oswald are keeping her booked. He meets one of Winfred-Louder's catalog models, who complains that she and her model friends haven't been invited to any parties while in Cleveland. Drew follows Kate's suggestion by organizing a slumber party at his house for the models. Drew plans to sneak out for a date with Tracy during the party. Unfortunately, a blizzard keeps the models away and prevents Drew from going on the date. Lewis and Oswald learn of his plans and vow revenge. They suggest that the guys at the party learn swing dancing to impress the ladies, and proceed to injure Drew as many times as possible. They decide to set aside all rules or attempts to act gentlemanly as they pursue Tracy. Mimi holds a women in business seminar, where Kate sucks up to Mrs. Louder to get her job back. Steve also attends, explaining that the fact that he dresses as a woman means that he faces the same disadvantages as women in the business world. Mimi reveals that the seminar was actually a ruse to pitch cosmetics to everyone. Kate demands to know why Mrs. Louder won't rehire her. She says that she overheard Kate insulting her. Kate claims that she was just trying to follow Mrs. Louder's example, as she has seen how far she has gotten by stepping on others. Mrs. Louder is impressed and hires Kate as her personal assistant.moreless

At work, Larry comes over and hugs Drew. He asks Drew to sit down for some bad news. Larry reveals that he saw Tracy out with Drew's friend. When Drew tells Larry they're dating the same woman, Larry invites Drew to a swingers group. Oswald and Tracy come in, and Drew's a little angry since Oswald brought her in a bit late. It seems all of the public events which are scheduled, Tracy is all booked with Oswald and Lewis. Lewis comes in and tries to get in on Drew's date with Tracy. Mr. Wick

Still at Winfred Louder, Mrs. Louder is interested in a flier she found. There's a party, and she's curious about it. A model comes in to see Drew, and Drew asks her if she would go to a party with him, and she agrees to it.

At home, Drew, Lewis, and Oswald are set for the pajama party. Sharon and Kate come in. Sharon brings with a toilet seat for Drew. The whole plan for tonight is to get Lewis and Oswald distracted by the models, so he can leave and catch up with Tracy.

At Mimi's, she's welcoming people, including Sharon and Kate, to her business party. Mrs. Louder comes in, and is a little concerned when she sees the decorations. Drew's brother, Steve, comes in, but Mrs. Louder doesn't want him there. Mimi starts the party, but everyone is upset when Mimi tries to push cosmetics. Kate convinces everyone to stay, all in an attempt to get on Mrs. Louder's good side.

At Drew's, Ed comes in to see Drew, and he brings his guitar. In the other room, a dozen or so guys are gathered around, waiting for the models. In the other room, Drew receives a call, and it seems the models aren't coming because of the snow storm. Drew lies to the guys, and tells them the models will be here soon. Drew also tells them he's leaving to get beer, but he's really leaving to catch up with Tracy at the Warsaw. At the front door, Drew comes in shortly after leaving, as he can't leave since his car is snowed in. Drew asks Ed to play a song to pass some time, but he sings about killing Drew if the models don't come.

Drew walks out in the backyard and calls Tracy. He promises to catch up to her, but he's going to walk. He drops the phone in the snow, and he can't find it. Inside the house, the phone's ringing, but they can't find it. Ed thinks he might have a novelty phone. Oswald and Lewis find out what Drew was up to, and they get angry. Drew comes in through the front door, and Lewis and Oswald walk over to him, and they decide to dance, violently, with Drew, as punishment for what he tried to do with Tracy.

Back at Mimi's, she's covering Sharon with makeup, and she looks a lot like Mimi, which freaks her out. Kate decides to move on to a game of "Truth or Dare", and when Mrs. Louder insults Kate, Kate asks her why she doesn't like or re-hire her. Mrs. Louder tells her why, and Kate says the reason she acted that way was because Mrs. Louder got to where she is by acting that way. She decides to hire her as an assistant.

Back to Drew's, Oswald's kicking the crap out of Drew. Drew asks the guys if they know about his date with Tracy, and they do. They go into the kitchen to talk about it, and Drew pulls a fast one on them, locking them out of the house, in the snow. Lewis gets back at Drew by cutting the electricity to the house, which puts an end to the dancing.

The show ends with the guys watching home videos of hippos, over at Drew's.

While there were several funny moments in the episode, the comedy level wasn't quite where I expected it to be. The girl's party was almost funnier than the guy's party, particularly when Mimi applied makeup to Steve and Sharon.moreless
