  • Drew asks Larry for help in finding a wife.

The show starts off with a Goo Goo Dolls performance at a wedding. Drew, Kellie, and Oswald sit down and Oswald tells them how loves the choice of foods. Lewis gets up and toasts the bride and groom, and he breaks down, depressed about his life. Larry comes in and tells the guys that he's now running a dating service. He offers to help Drew find a wife, but Drew turns his offer down when Larry tells him he charges people $5,000. Drew reconsiders when Larry drops the price for him. Meanwhile, Lewis is making out with the bride, much to the chagrin of her husband.

We join Drew and a woman on a mock-date when Larry comes in and ends it. He brings in another woman, Robin. When Robin and Drew start talking, things seem to go well, so Larry tells them to leave and go have dinner.

At the store, Scott and Evan confront Mimi about her refusal to get an ergonomic keyboard for Traylor. Mimi plays the sympathy card, as her marriage is broken up and manages to get Traylor to go get her own keyboard.

A few weeks pass, and Larry comes into the office to ask Drew about how things are going with Robin. Drew tells him he's not so sure things are going to work out. Robin comes in and Drew gives her a romantic kiss, as he wants to try harder after some advice from Larry. Scott and Evan come in and ask Drew to work late tonight, but Drew tells them he can't because he's got a date with Robin. Robin convinces him to stay late to impress the bosses, and she can bring him something to eat.

The next day, Robin comes over and Drew's busy making some chili for dinner. They walk into the living room and sit down. After a minute passes, Robin asks him to marry her, but Drew doesn't give her an answer.

The day after, Drew's out on his porch when he's joined by Lewis, Oswald, and Kellie. He tells them about Robin's proposal, and Oswald's really happy for them. Drew tells them he's not so sure he should marry her because there aren't any sparks. Oswald thinks Drew is afraid of commitment, Lewis thinks Drew should go ahead and marry Robin, but Kellie thinks that those sparks are important and that maybe he should look for someone else. Robin comes over and wants to talk to Drew, so the guys go inside to leave them to talk. As they talk, we see and hear one of the guys opening the window to listen in. Drew asks Robin to give him another 24 hours before he gives her an answer. When Robin leaves, Drew is given a beer through the window from Kellie.

On the bus, Drew tries to talk to Tony, the bus driver, about marrying Robin. Tony tells him sparks are overrated for guys their age. After a while, Tony tells Drew to agree to marry Robin, she's clearly the woman for her. A woman comes onto the bus, and they bump into one another, and there's literally a spark between the two of them, as the spark was static electricity. Drew gets off and then he realizes he's made a mistake, so we see Drew chasing after the bus.

The show ends with Lewis, Oswald, and one of the guys from The Goo Goo Dolls, singing a song about Drew, while sitting on Drew's porch.

I enjoyed this episode quite a bit. It was good to see Larry back on the show. Seeing Lewis break down at the start of the show was hilarious.moreless
