In Drew's kitchen, Oswald is playing with two oven mitts, having them kiss one another when Lewis comes in and wants to talk about Drew, who is coming home soon. Oswald shows him the free cake he got for Drew. They then walk into the living room when Kate tells them Drew and Steve pulled in. They turn off the lights, and when Drew and Steve come in, they turn on the lights to surprise Drew and welcome him home. They all go into the kitchen where they ask Drew about how he got out of the mental hospital. He says he convinced them he was fine by dancing. We cut to a big dance production they did at the mental hospital, and there are a few clips of Drew dancing with Oswald and Kate in the kitchen. During the production, we also see a few very, very brief clips from other productions from previous episodes.

At Winfred-Louder, Mr. Wick fires a woman who is one day from collecting her pension. He claims the red and purple scarf she is wearing are gang colors. Drew walks in and Mr. Wick welcomes him back by pointing out the stacks of paper Drew has to work through. It seems no one bothered to take care of Drew's work while he was away. Mimi comes in to see Drew. Steve then walks in and tells Drew that he and Mimi have split up for the time being because of what Mimi did to Drew to get him sent to the mental hospital. Drew's so happy about this, he bounces around the room.

Drew, Kate, Lewis, and Oswald are sitting down in the Warsaw, when Lewis tests Drew to see if he's still crazy, by seeing which candy bar he will choose. When a waitress asks Drew about where he was, everyone lies for him, since being in a mental hospital carries around a bad stigma. When Drew sees Nicki walk in, he hides under the table. Nicki walks over, and Drew finally comes out from under the table, and they decide to talk about how things have gone since they last saw one another. Nicki admits she made a mistake by leaving Drew, and she's since gotten a divorce. Kate's concerned about Drew because he's rather vulnerable after getting out of the mental hospital. Kate, Lewis, and Oswald try to draw Drew's attention away from Nicki, but Drew isn't going along with them. Instead, he stays with Nicki, and asks her if she will marry him, and she agrees to his proposal. They walk out of the Warsaw to get married.

At Drew's house, Lewis and Oswald are working on a "Missing" poster for Drew. They use markers to try to make him look like how he may look now, since he's been gone for a while. They place beard stubble on his face, and draw stink lines around his head. Finally, Oswald adds a pirate patch to one of Drew's eyes to finish it. Steve comes in and he's not heard any news about Drew. Kate comes in and says Drew's not checked himself back into the mental hospital. Kate then reveals to everyone that she's still in love with Drew, so Oswald suggests telling him, since he's always loved her, and since he's out of the mental hospital, it's perfect timing. We quickly cut to Drew and Nicki getting married.

At Drew's, Mimi asks Steve to come home, but he's still not willing, so she flashes him, but Lewis and Oswald come in, and see her naked. Mimi leaves out the back door and Drew and Nicki come in through the front door. Drew makes the big announcement about them getting married. When Steve and Nicki leave the room, Lewis asks Drew if he's sure marrying Nicki was the right idea, but Drew assures him that they're still in love. Drew tells them about Kate calling him, and asking to see him, but he's not sure why, so he asks them if they have any idea what she wants. Lewis and Oswald walk into the kitchen to talk about what to tell him, but they realize Drew's already left to meet up with Kate, so they sit down with a beer and talk about seeing Mimi naked.

Drew walks into the restaurant to see Kate, who reaches across the table and kisses Drew when he sits down. She tells him she wants to marry him and start a family, and Drew agrees to marry her, so they walk out to get married.

The show ends with Lewis and Oswald in the kitchen when there's a knock at the back door. A police officer shows them the "Missing" poster they put up of Drew, and he brings in a pirate, which looks similar to Drew. The pirate kicks Lewis and Oswald out of the house, claiming he's Drew Carey. Lewis and Oswald walk away, saying "I can't believe we lost Drew's house to a pirate."

I felt this was a pretty fast-paced episode, everything happened so quickly for Drew, and it certainly caught him off-guard. The "missing" poster bit was funny, typical Lewis and Oswald stuff, 'ya know?!moreless

  • QUOTES (6)

    • Mimi: The rumor around the women's store is that they took out the part of your brain that makes you want to get revenge. (slight pause) That's...true, isn't it?
Drew: Yeah, it's in the trash with the part of your brain that tells you to quit putting on make-up.

    • (Drew sits with Kate at a diner.)
      Drew: Hey.
Kate: I'm just gonna come right out and say this, 'cause if I don't say it now, I never will. I love you. (Kisses him) I've always loved you and I think you've always loved me. I want to have a family with you, Drew. City Hall's right next door. Will you marry me?
      (brief pause)
Drew: Yes. Yes, I'll marry you, Kate.

    • Lewis: Hey Drew! Someone's letting the air out of your--oh, actually, it's the car next to yours. Now Oswald's getting the crap beaten out of him.

    • (Mimi disrobes to motivate Steve into coming home. Lewis and Oswald come in and see her naked.)
Lewis (to Oswald): I told you that dead dog on the road wasn't the worst thing we'd see today.

    • Oswald: Lewis? Do you think seeing Mimi like that will do any permanent damage?
Lewis: I'll tell you one thing: I'm not gay...but I'm sure as hell not straight anymore, either.

    • Nicki: Listen, I'm sure things will work out between you and Mimi.
Steve: I hope so. She sure is special. You know, when they made her, they broke the mold.
Drew: I heard the mold shot itself.
