The show opens with the "Da Vinci's Notebook" production at the Neverending Store office.

Kellie comes over to Drew's and realizes only Oswald is there. She tells him about going to a play, but Oswald's not that interested in going. Drew comes in and apologizes for being late. They all talk about Drew and his job. Steve comes in and tells them he can't go to the play with them as he and Mimi have other plans. As they're all about to leave, Oswald mentions he doesn't want to go to a play, he'd rather go see a movie.

We cut to Drew, Oswald, and Kellie in a movie theatre, watching "Godzilla." A minute passes and Steve and a woman who obviously isn't Mimi, come in and start making out. When Steve hears Drew's voice, he and his lady take off.

At the office, Drew's passing time by stapling papers and then taking the staples out, when Scott and Evan come bouncing in with some things they're thinking of selling on the store's website. Scott asks Drew a tech question and he manages to come up with an answer to cover his butt. After Scott and Evan leave, Drew asks a girl, Karen, out for the office party, and she agrees to go out with him. Traylor comes in and insults Drew when he tries to talk to her. She goes over and sits down and is joined by Mimi and Steve. They talk about how Steve's car broke down, so they didn't spend time together. He's lying of course, and when Drew asks him about what was wrong with the car, Steve changes the subject. Mimi walks away and Steve confesses to Drew that he cheated on Mimi, and it shocks Drew of course.

Drew comes home and finds a woman sitting on his couch. Steve comes in and it seems the woman, Gloria, didn't want Steve to break up with her. As Steve and Gloria are about to leave, they run into Mimi. Realizing how bad life could be if Mimi finds out Steve was cheating on her, Drew covers for Steve and tells Mimi that Gloria is his new girlfriend.

In the car, they're trying to pass time by playing games and talking about news. You can sense how uncomfortable they all are with being there.

At the office party, Drew calls up Karen and tells her he couldn't make it, but he only gets her answering machine. Traylor comes in and gives everyone five seconds to see her and leaves. Steve and Mimi come over and Mimi criticizes Gloria's drinking habits. Karen, Drew's date, then walks in and there's an awkward moment with Drew, Karen, and Gloria. Drew manages to get slapped several times by the two women. As Drew and Gloria are on their way out, Gloria's husband comes in and punches Drew. Steve finally confesses to Mimi that he was the one who was cheating with Gloria. This obviously devastates Mimi and she leaves.

Up on the roof, Drew tries to cheer up Steve, as he's pretty sad about getting himself into this situation with Mimi and Gloria.

The show ends with an extended cut of a scene from the "Cleveland Rocks" opening.

My favorite part of tonight's episode was when Gloria and Karen slapped the crap out of Drew. Overall, this was a better than average episode for the eighth season.moreless
