Ok, now that we FINALLY have a Season One DVD, how long do you think it will be before Seasons 2, 3, 4, etc. are released? My hope is that it will be 3 months between seasons, which would be a fairly short wait. Likely, I'm thinking it'll be 6 months. And hopefully it won't be put off till further notice, because that would just suck.

I hope it comes out soon. I know some shows that they only release the first season and the others (if they are released) don't come out for a looooong time after. I really hope they keep selling it, though.

Right, and I worry because this great show has been treated terribly, so I REALLY hope they don't just release Season One, and then forget about the rest for a couple of years. Because this show always seems to get the short end of the stick.

I know. Everyone knows about this show, but it's been treated so badly by networks and critics. It's because it's not filled with an entire cast of "beautiful" characters. (I put that in quotes because beauty is subjective, plus Christa Miller is pretty and I kinda like Deidrich Bader). If it was a duplicate of Friends or something it would've all been released. But because it's more like normal people, even if it's silly at times, they don't want to release it. I hope they rethink the system and continue to release more DVDs.

Details of live chat with Warner Bros indicated that a DVD release for season 2 is entirely based on sales for season 1 DVD.  So, if you haven't bought it yet, BUY IT SOON!  Please!

In an unrelated note, I figured out how to convert my bootleg Drew Carey Show DVD's onto my iPod, so now I can take some episodes with me wherever I go!

There's a converter on downloads.com [or something like that] but you have to buy it. You could also split the episodes and post them on Google video because then you can download it for your iPod.

When the seasons containing the "Drew Live" episodes are released, I hope they include all three filmings of each one (They were filmed live for the Eastern/Central, Mountain and Pacific time zones.) Also, the "What's Wrong With This Episode" shows could be offered with and without the pop-up bubbles explaining the mistakes.

It's not looking good for more seasons, is it?

Considering it's been almost 10 months since Season One was released, and there's absolutely no sign of Season Two or beyond? No. It's not looking too good. Glad I own the entire series on bootleg DVD, because it doesn't look like it's gonna happen for us.

I just really really really want season 5... I recorded most of it when it was aired on TBS, but they don't seem to like the concept of airing all the episodes, or airing the ones they DO have in order...
