  • Excellent casting!

The show opens with Steve and Mimi coming into work. Drew can't believe the way Mimi is dressed: new clothing, glasses, and a blond wig. It seems they had to apply to a private school for Gus, and they knew they would have a better chance of getting Gus in if Mimi would dress differently. Mr. Wick then calls and is put on the television for a video conference. He's still on his vacation in Hawaii, and he mentions a big pay cut for all of the store's employees. This is obviously bad news for the employees, so Drew starts complaining about it.

At home, Drew shows two men, Mitch and Lester, around his house. In order to make up for cut in pay, Drew's decided to rent out a room in his house.

A few days later, Drew comes downstairs for breakfast, which Lester has been preparing. Lewis and Oswald then come in to see Drew, when Mitch comes down and kisses Lester. This makes Lewis and Oswald a little uncomfortable, but when they realize the guys are gay, they invite them over to their house to help with decorating. The all then talk about Drew's financial problems, so Lester and Mitch tell Drew about the fact that they know someone at a big department store and could get him an interview. Excited about it, Drew asks them to set up an interview for him.

The next day, Kate joins Lewis and Oswald at the Warsaw for a beer. Kate's a little upset about the fact that Lewis and Oswald didn't ask her about decorating their house. Drew then comes in and tells everyone that he got the job, but it's not a job he'll be able to do. Lester and Mitch come in and hear about Drew getting the new job. When they see Drew's depressed about being overwhelmed about the idea, the guys motivate Drew and make him feel more confident.

When Drew goes into work for this first day, he's asked to cut the budget by $200,000 within a week. Immediately, Drew feels overwhelmed all over again, so he decides to take a little nap to relax.

We now catch up with Lewis, Oswald, Kate, Lester, and Mitch over at Lewis and Oswald's house. They've finished decorating the house, and Lewis and Oswald love it, although Kate finds it a bit much, since there are hundreds of colors everywhere.

Back at Drew's new job, Drew shows his bosses his new re-organization plan, which involves shifting personnel around. He unfortunately ends up proving they don't need him there, effectively firing himself.

When Drew gets home from work, he's surprised by Steve, Mimi, Lewis, Oswald, Kate, Lester, and Mitch, who have thrown a little party for him. When Drew tells them he's been fired, the party ends before it really got started and Mimi leaves with all of the presents. Mitch and Lester then tell Drew that they're moving out because they've inherited a new house. After Lester and Mitch leave, Mr. Wick comes by and offers Drew his job back, but Drew refuses to go back, because he thinks he can do better. Drew tells Mr. Wick he's going to find a job he'll love.

We quickly cut to Drew firing a gun at a range. He stops firing to comment on how he's going to love this new job.

The show ends with Lewis and Oswald arriving home. They're worried when they notice the front door is open, so they look around to see if anything has been stolen. This is difficult because they're really not accustomed to the look of the place. When Oswald notices a few things on the floor which weren't there before, Lewis yells outside. It seems people have begun to use their house as a dump.

When Drew turned down the job offer from Mr. Wick, I was a little surprised, quite frankly. Much like the other guys, I don't think Drew really has that many options for employment opportunities. Overall, I enjoyed the episode, particularly plot surrounding Drew renting out his house. I loved the casting choices for the Mitch and Lester characters.moreless
