Episode Summary

New York and Queens
After he is honored for going to work 3000 times without missing a day, Drew fears that he has wasted his life. He grows depressed that everyone at the store calls him "Old Man Carey" and sees him as a model for stability and responsibility. While the gang is out restocking bars with Buzz Beer on Sunday morning, he suddenly suggests that they drive to New York to watch the Indians play the Yankees. They would not make it back in time for work the next day, but they decide that they don't care. After arriving in New York, they get stuck in a massive traffic jam and meet Donald Trump. Carol Channing continually rams her car into the truck and yells at them. The traffic clears up, but the truck runs out of gas. Drew and Oswald sell two cases of Buzz Beer to a nearby store to get gas money, as they blew all of their cash in Hershey, Pennsylvania. An ice cream man starts beating on the truck with a baseball bat because he thinks that Drew and his friends are moving in on his territory. When they explain that they actually carry beer in the truck, a policeman arrests them for selling alcohol without a permit. After they are released and return to Cleveland, Drew convinces them to go to the midnight showing of "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." They show up in costume to find that the theater has replaced Rocky Horror with "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." The gang argues with Mimi, Wick and other patrons about which of the films is better, and they have a dance-off.moreless

  • Do the Time Warp!

Drew goes to New York to watch a Indians/Yankees game in a comical Trafic Jam. Also there was a dance off for \"Rocky Horror Picture Show\" and \"Pricila Queen of The Desert\" which \"Rocky Horror\" kicked ass in with \"Time Warp\". Good eppy with some great music that Drew usualy has..
  • Not a favorite of mine.

At work, Drew is chewing out Todd about being late all the time. Todd also seems to be a bit of a smart ass and very immature. When Mimi comes by, Todd asks her how the Marilyn Manson concert went. Mimi's got a bit of a headache from the party and booze from last night. Drew's starting to feel a little old, after something Todd says. Mr. Wick comes out and tells Drew that he's been at work, every single day for 3001 straight days. Drew's a little depressed about spending so much time at work and not "smelling the roses."

In the delivery truck, Drew, Lewis, Oswald, and Kate are out delivering beer when Drew decides that he's tired of not doing any exciting, so he turns the wheel to the off-ramp, and they decide to go to New York City.

Still in the delivery truck, the guys are singing songs trying to pass time.

Still in the delivery truck, they're pointing out cows and they're all covered with Slim-Jim wrappers. Kate's using them as earrings. Drew's even using them as a tie. Drew then notices the smell of chocolate, they're close to Hershey, PA.

In New York City now, the guys are stuck in traffic, not able to go more than six inches. Donald Trump comes by looking to buy an ice cream bar, but they don't sell ice cream bars. When they tell Donald about them in town to see the Yankees, Donald Trump gives them tickets to his box seats at Yankee Stadium. After having enough of people bumping the truck, Drew decides to go have a talk with the driver, who happens to be Carol Channing. After a minute passes, they try to go forward, when Lewis realizes that they're all out of gas, taking up both lanes of traffic now.

Still stuck in traffic, they try to come up with a way to get some gas. Drew decides to take some of the Buzz Beer and sell it to a local store so they can buy some gas. They're able to sell two cases for $20. Outside, a man is hitting Drew's delivery truck with a baseball bat because he thinks Drew is trying to take over his area, selling ice cream cones, so Drew runs out starts kicking the guy's ice cream truck. A cop comes by and stops the guys, and decides to fine Drew for selling beer without a license.

Everyone comes home, but Kate's got to go pee, so she runs out of the kitchen. When Kate comes back, she, Lewis, and Oswald want to leave, but Drew wants to have some fun, but they still want to leave. Drew comes up with a great idea, go see the "Rocky Horror Show", something they've not done since high school.

On the street, they're all dressed up, ready to see the show at the theatre, but a different show is on at the theatre. Mimi, Mr. Wick, and several others are there waiting for their show. After a few harsh words, they all decide to dance. The police are able to break it up and haul off Mimi and Drew in the back of the truck.

The show ends with the guys soaking their feet at Drew's house, with Kate wondering why they keep getting sucked into a big dance number. Drew then stands up and starts a song and dance.

I have to admit this wasn't my favorite storyline. Not one part of it interested me, not even the big song and dance number at the end, which was, I admit, somewhat funny.moreless
