Episode Summary

EDIT
Rats, Kate's Dating a Wrestler
AIRED:
The Warsaw must temporarily close after it is taken over by super-intelligent rats from DrugCo, which escaped from a cage in Lewis's apartment. In order to keep Buzz Beer afloat in the meantime, the gang asks a popular pro wrestler to serve as spokesman. The company begins making a profit for the first time. Kate begins dating The Disciplinarian, much to Drew's chagrin. They get into an argument after Drew notes that all of her relationships end in disaster. The Disciplinarian, once devoted to his fitness routine, starts getting drunk all the time and missing public appearances. Drew warns Kate to cut him loose, while she feels that the gang is working him too hard. Kate nearly ruins The Disciplinarian's career when she takes him to Atlantic City, where he loses $20,000 and winds up naked in a fountain. He breaks up with her and denounces Buzz Beer. However, his comments actually lead to more business, as everyone wants to try the beer that could "kick The Disciplinarian's ass." Drew makes Kate feel guilty by consoling her about the break-up instead of yelling at her for nearly destroying Buzz Beer. They wonder why neither of them can ever have a lasting relationship.moreless

At the Warsaw, Drew, Oswald, and Kate are eating out, and when the bill comes, Kate leaves to go to the bathroom. The bartender comes over and tells Oswald and Drew that they have to close the bar since they have rats. Lewis comes in and hears about the rat problem, and it seems he has been keeping super intelligent rats, from DrugCo, upstairs. Since the bar may be closing, Drew, Lewis, and Oswald are concerned they might have to close down Buzz Beer, since they don't distribute it to too many other bars.

Drew, Lewis, Oswald, Mimi, and Kate are out watching wrestling. Kate snuck in a few bottles of beer, and they get chewed out by one of the wrestlers. Drew wants to offer the wrestler a job promoting Buzz Beer.

At Winfred Louder, Mr. Wick fires a person, so Mimi rolls out a cake. It seems he's the 100th person to be fired by Mr. Wick. Kate, Lewis, and Oswald come in and tell Drew the Disciplinarian is coming in. Drew tells them that they've only got $2000 to spend, so let's not get carried away. The Disciplinarian comes in and Mimi asks him about wrestling. He then goes over and discuss the topic of doing promotions, so they agree on $.05 for every can or bottle they sell.

At home, Drew, Lewis, and Oswald watch The Disciplinarian on TV, while he promotes Buzz Beer. Kate and The Disciplinarian come in, and Oswald asks him how to get a body like his. The Disciplinarian leaves after kissing Kate, and Drew can't help but ask Kate what is going on. Drew doesn't think it's a good idea for her to date someone they're in business with.

At the Warsaw, Lewis and Oswald are looking for the rats in the bar. Oswald thinks the rats are smarter than they are, and he proves it when the finds a beer bottle on the counter, but when he grabs it, his hand becomes stuck to the bottle, and the bottle is stuck to the counter. Lewis then notices his hand is also stuck to the counter.

The next day, Lewis and Oswald are over at Drew's. They're having their Buzz Beer money meeting even though Kate's not there. It seems they're actually making money for a change. Kate and The Disciplinarian come in, and he's drunk. It seems they missed the mall opening, so they decide to call for a vote for how they should act, and it becomes a waste of time.

At the Warsaw, the guys talk to the bartender, and it seems the rats haven't been around in the past few days, so they're able to open the bar again. Mimi comes in, looking for The Disciplinarian, and Mr. Wick comes in as well. Kate shows up and announces that the relationship went bad. On the news, The Disciplinarian is talking about what happened, and says Buzz Beer kicked his butt, and warns kids not to drink. Drew pulls Kate over to one of the tables and asks her if things are going to be okay with her, since none of her relationships work out. The bartender comes over and asks Drew for more Buzz Beer, since everyone wants the beer that kicked the butt of The Disciplinarian. Oswald comes over and makes a huge mistake, promising free beer for everyone.

The show ends with Lewis, Oswald, and the bartender at Warsaw, talking about the rats. The bartender suggests that the rats aren't so smart, they're just smart compared to Lewis and Oswald. As Lewis and Oswald are leaving, they hear the bartender talking to one of the rats, and referring to the rat as "master".

The main plot with Kate's dating of The Disciplinarian was a bit silly. The subplot with the rats was also silly, but in my opinion, funnier. The ending was very funny.moreless
