  • Nicki comes back!

Tonight's show opens with Drew and Mimi getting into an elevator, but they seem a bit bored. The scene is being shot in black and white. As they get off of the elevator and make their way into work, the scene turns to color and they find a completely remodeled office. Everything is much fancier and the chairs are much more comfortable. Lord Mercer tells them that they have upgraded everything as a thanks because the store has had a great financial year. A deliveryman walks in with a gift for Drew, who's pleasantly surprised. When he finds out it is a package from his ex-wife, Nicki, thoughts of the gift being a bomb go through everyone's mind. Because of this fear, the store is emptied and a bomb disposal robot is sent in to deal with the package.

Back at home, Drew opens up the gift box and it seems Nicki gave him chocolate roses as well as milk bones for Speedy. Kate thinks Nicki may still be angry about the double-marriage and there may be poison in the roses. They look over and find that Oswald is eating the roses. Freaked out at the theory, Oswald asks Lewis to drive him to the hospital.

The next day, Mimi and Drew come into work and find the store is nearly empty, only Milan and Lord Mercer are there with a small table and a small set of chairs. It seems the accounting team has been stealing millions of dollars, breaking the company. The only way to keep the store open is to fire a large number of employees and put all of management on the sales floor.

On the sales floor, Drew talks to Lord Mercer, and it seems things are going terrible. Mimi is in the shoe department, but she would rather talk on the phone than sell shoes.

Later that night, Kate, Lewis, and Oswald stop by Drew's house to see how he's doing, but find him sitting in his chair, with both of his feet deep in ice coolers. He claims he was on his feet for nine hours. A minute later, the phone rings, and it turns out Nicki wants to get together on Saturday for a talk. Drew agrees to meet with her, but what he doesn't know is that while she is on the phone, Nicki was cleaning a shotgun.

The next morning, Drew comes into work and finds a depressed Mr. Wick. It seems the store has gotten rid of all the designer clothing and is selling cheap crap for under $1. When the doors open, Lord Mercer is run over by poor people looking for a good deal.

Back at home, Drew's getting ready to meet Nicki, and he's got Steve, Lewis, Oswald, and Kate there to keep an eye on things. What surprises everyone is the fact that Nicki has put on a lot of weight. After the introduction, all of the guys take off to let Kate and Nicki alone to talk. Drew goes into the kitchen to get some beers, and when he comes back, he finds Nicki with a gun in her hands. Drew convinces her to put the gun away and they talk about her living in so that he can help her get her life turned around.

The show ends with Lewis and Oswald shopping at Winfred-Louder. They're buying underwear and music in bulk.

Tonight's show wasn't particularly good. The story wasn't interesting, and the comedy was a bit disappointing as well. The second scene of the show was probably my favorite, with Oswald eating the chocolate roses.moreless
