What's Wrong with This Episode III

Aired Daily 9:00 PM Mar 01, 2000 on ABC

  • Trivia

    • As one of the goofs, the "Cleveland Rocks" theme song was changed from the version done by The Presidents of The United States of America to one done by Ian Hunter.

    • The sign says 4friends 4beer 4ever. But really the Buzz Beer founders also included Lisa and Jay.

    • According to this episode, Drew says that Lewis was a straight A student until he met Oswald. In "Drew vs. Mimi, Part II," however, Lewis reveals that he was a chemist for DrugCo before he unwittingly released a strain of bacteria and was demoted to janitor. To be a chemist for what I imagine to be an imminent corporation, Lewis would still have to maintain the high credentials, which would means straight A's, superb school, and other options.

  • Notes

    • Craig Ferguson does not appear in this episode.

    • When Kate enters pregnant, it is given as a goof.
In fact, Christa Miller was pregnant and gave birth about three months after this episode aired. That's why we dont see her stomach during the following episodes. (Kate is in bed, in a dress etc.)

  • Allusions

    • Pinocchio: I see dead people.

This is a famous line from the the 1999 film, "The Sixth Sense."

    • Pinnochio appears in a brief scene in a reference to Drew Carey's first movie, "Geppetto." On first airing, Drew mentions the upcoming airdate of the movie (syndication removes this bit).

    • Oswald: Hey! I only played a hillbilly in one movie, and actually I'm quite bright.

Diedrich Bader (who plays Oswald) appeared in the 1993 movie remake of "The Beverly Hillbillies" as Jethro Bodine.
