The cartoon is rife with emotional irony, transparent psychological stereotypes, and comical illustrations of popular delusions which all conflict with each other. Basically, The Drinky Crow Show not for all people. If you're sheltered, you won't understand the humor. If you're a romantic, you'll find the show offensive (you'll find that the character, Drinky Crow, is also a hopeless romantic, which is why he drinks, and ultimately fails at almost everything).
What sold me was not only the humor, but also the originality. A lot of shows like to bring meaningless shock value to the table for a cheap laugh, but this show layers it with a comical plot for the sake of... well, comedy!
If you can stomach the fact the people puke when they're drunk, make bad choices in the company of bad friends, and are unhappy when they strive for impossible ideals, then you might have found one of the best life satires out there.
