The Easter Promise & The Witness are two animated classics presented by Vision Video to help children learn about Easter. The first story follows a boy named Jerem as he inadvertently falls right into the middle of the Passion story. Initially excited to meet Jesus, Jerem's excitement turns to skepticism when Christ is captured by the temple priests. Believing Jesus to be a fraud, Jerem learns instead to have faith and is there to see to the greatest miracle of all time, the resurrection of Jesus. The second story follows the story of the Easter from an unlikely viewpoint, which is that of Barrabas, the criminal released by Pontius Pilate in Christ's place. Choosing to watch the death of the man who saved him, Barrabas' initial doubt turns into belief in his savior. Both films run for about 45 minutes apiece, and are an excellent way for parents to introduce the story of the Easter to their children.
