Ed Sullivan's Annual Army Talent Show

Army talent includes:
--Steve Lawrence (singer, serving in the Army at the time) - "Day In, Day Out" and "If I Loved You."
--Peter Duchin (pianist, stationed at Fort Jackson in Columbia, SC) - plays "My Twilight Dream" (aka "To Love Again" / aka Chopin's "Nocturne in E Flat") and "Summertime." (Peter is the son of the late pianist-orchestra leader Eddy Duchin.)
--The Jamaicans (vocal group, 5 soldiers from Fort Meade, MD) - "Jamaica Farewell." (The Jamaicans were PFC Buddy Pettit, PFC David Hollis, 1st Lt. Charles Carlin, Vernon L. McRae, Satnley A Delescavage)
--SP/I Jack W. Larson (impressionist from Fort Belvoir, VA) - impersonates Ed Sullivan, George Gobel, Elvis Presley ("King Creole" and "Hound Dog"), and Perry Como ("Catch a Falling Star").
--John Park (alto sax player) - performs "Flamingo."
--Boyd Dounveor (tenor from Ft. Meade, MD) - sings "Danny Boy."
--Al Cohn (tenor) - "Nessun Dorma."

--Darrell Porter (singer) - "Lonesome Road."
--The Troubadours (instrumental-novelty group) - "Drunken Soldier." (The Troubadours were Pvt. Leon Irwin, PFC David Madison, PFC Herbert Johnson).
--The Fort Sheridan Chamber Quintet including Alan Marlowe of Encino (instrumental group).
--The Second Army Band and Chorus - "This Is It," "Caught in the Act" and "Army Goes Rolling Along."
