--Luis Mariano (Spanish-born singer) - "Maman La Plus Belle Du Monde."
--Betty Johnson sings a Christmas medley ("White Christmas," "Winter Wonderland," "The Christmas Song" and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town").
Broadway:
--Jose Ferrer and Lois Smith (actors) - perform the Romeo and Juliet rehearsal scene from "Edwin Booth," a play based on the life of the 19th century actor (and brother of Lincoln assassin John Wilkes Booth).
Comedy:
--Wayne and Shuster (comedy team) - "CinderElvis," a comedy sketch with Thelma Pelish, Mort Marshall, Jack Merigold, and Sid Raymond.
Also appearing:
--Dick Button (champion ice skater) - performs at the Rockefeller Center ice rink.
--Bob Considine (newspaper columnist) reads "If I Were A King" from his book "Christmas Stocking."
--On-stage bows: Charlie Conerly (New York Giants quarterback), Johnny Unitas (Baltimore Colts quarterback), and Jim Brown (Cleveland Browns fullback). Jim Brown is presented with an award for 'Outstanding Player Of The Year.'

--On film: A scene from the MGM film "Tom Thumb" starring Russ Tamblyn. Following the clip, the film's director, George Pal, shrinks Ed down to 5 1/2 inches.
