In the 2008 Emmy awards, The Beatles's live performance, was in the list of the Most Memorable "Comedy" TV Moments. However, it didn't make it to the top 5.
Its ironic that the night the Beatles made their debut on Ed Sullivan, one of the other acts on the show featured a young singer named Davy Jones, who would go on to join the Beatle inspired Monkees.
Changes on the DVD:
--The Kent Cigarettes commercial is replaced by a Pillsbury ad.
