--Constance Bennett (actress & night club performer) sings "Moritat" (Mack the Knife) and is joined by two back-up singers for other songs (possibly "Dungaree Doll" and "A Teenage Prayer").
--Patachou (French chanteuse) sings "The Poor People of Paris" and "A Wonderful Guy."
Comedy:
--Charlotte Rae (comedian) - does impressions of the different types of opera singers: the prima donna, the contralto and the soprano.
--Myron Cohen (story-telling comedian)
--Senor Wences (ventriloquist)
Also appearing:
--Contestants in the Miss Universe beauty contest.
--Sciplini's Chimps (trained animal act) - perform stunts on the parallel bars.
--In a remote from Boston, Ted Williams (of the Boston Red Sox) asks for contributions to the Jimmy Fund, which fights childhood cancer. Williams also makes a plea for the return of a 36-day old Peter Weinberger who was kidnapped 4 days earlier from the patio of his Westbury, NY home.
