--Sullivan displays a gift plaque followed by an audience bow by war veterans.
Commercial: Kodak cameras (introduced by Julia Meade)
--The Hi-Lads (comedy vocal quartet)
--Guy Marks (comedian, Copacabana performer)
--Ford and Reynolds (comedy team) - do a comedy routine that includes a rendition of the song "Misty"
Commercial: Eastman Kodak (with Julia Meade)
--Charles Chaplin Jr. (actor-comedian) - jokingly asks Ed Sullivan for a job, then does a comedy routine originaly done by his father.
--The Ducats (tap dancers) - five children doing a song-and-dance act.
--Professor Backwards (comedian) - stand-up comedy monologue.
--Steve Role (singer, with acoustic guitar) performs "They Call the Wind Mariah"

--Count Basie and his Band perform a big band song
