    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (2)

      • I really wonder what Barbra Streisand felt about this medley that the Supremes copied.

      • Diana Ross decided to change her stage outfit for the premier of the lip-synched 'Love Child' (just to be different) while holding up the live broadcast of the show. "Diana Ross will be fired for this," jokes Ed.

    • QUOTES (0)

    • NOTES (1)

      • This is the only appearance for the Jefferson Airplane on the Sullivan show.

The 1980 syndicated repeat of this episode features loud audience screaming during "Crown of Creation" (which is probably the way the show was originally broadcast). On the "Ed Sullivan Rock 'N' Roll Classics" series, the screaming was removed from the soundtrack.
