    • TRIVIA (1)

      • Singer Don Chastain was a former Golden Gloves boxer. His father Clyde was a professional boxer and fought two world championship bouts in the middleweight and welterweight divisions. At 17 Don had fought six bouts, winning five and losing one. He had also been singing on the radio since he was nine years old. The time came when Don had to decide between boxing and a singing career. He chose singing. His ability to sing jazz is truly a rare find and a natural with improvisations and comedy as well.
