Edie's guests are Peter Falk, Duke Ellington and His Band. Highlights: Edie's talking will be done through her musical numbers, including "I Got It Bad and That Ain't Good", "Beginning to See the Light", "Sophisticated Lady", "A Train", "Satin Doll", "Lonely Town" and "When I Fall In Love". Peter Falk does a funny routine as a New York cab driver. Edie sings and dances to David Rose's "The Stripper". Edie performs "When I Fall In Love" accompanied by the Claremont String Quartet. Duke Ellington and his band accompanied by Edie perform "Satin Doll".
