      • The song "One Word Comes After Another", played during this episode, was the debut appearance for the show's newest cast member, Hattie Winston. The actress Winston replaced, Lee Chamberlin, appeared in three separate sketches this episode.

      • New title sequence for the season is rooted in an explosion of the psychedelic computer animation that was catching on in television during the mid-1970s. Such technical advances were always part of The Electric Company, but not until 1973 did the best title sequence emerge. The theme music was also updated for this season.

      • Starting with the 1973-1974 season, each episode opened with a cast member announcing: "Today on The Electric Company, [Player X] says..." and previewing what will happen on said skit. In this episode, for example, Player X says, "(It's the teeth!)" The words in parenthesis are censored out by a reverberating tone, so the youthful audience can try to figure out the words.
