This was one of Paul Hamm's first major interviews following the 2004 Summer Olympics. Where he became the first American man to ever win the Men's Gymnastics All Around.

As usual, Ellen (and Betty White) flubbed with the date. The show was filmed on Ellen's birthday (the 26th), though the show aired the 27th. They both said "today" instead of "yesterday", in regards to Ellen's birthday, though they corrected themselves soon after.
