  • Empres Malina was solid. Loved Tree Frog Man!

    9.8
I'll agree that Empress Malina wasn't the strongest of the stories so far. It did give a bit more insight into Kuzco and Malina's relationship, though. And I really liked that Kronk thought he was Yzma...a classic idiot response.

Red-Eyed Tree Frog was so funny though. Shows the series can expand into different areas and have fun with itself in new ways the movie never explored.
  • This is my favorit episode

    9.9
This is the first good episode in the sirries. I personaley did not care for the Emperiss Malina epsode, but the Red Eye Tree Frog Man epsode made me laugh the rest of the day. My favorit part was when they sung the Red Eye Tree Frog Man Them Song. Kronk was also funny on this episode because he became a fan of his enmey (or friend I still can't tell if Kronk is a good guy or a bad guy). I also like it when Kronk stupidy case him to Yzma to fall. Overall I think this is one of the beast episode yet.moreless
  • Another delightful installment in the adventures of Kuzco!

    10
Funny! This episode held all the characteristics which made the movie so well loved. Kuzco's delightful selfishness, his hilarious cut ins plus a delightful theme song! What else can one ask for. THis is the episode which got me to fall in love with the show. It's such a well done extention of the characters created in the movie. They've even added some good character to round out the cast. Melina offers a perfect counter part to Kuzco. That is not to say she is perfect where he is flawed, but she is able to check his less attractice tendenacies.moreless
  • Hilarious! Keep 'em coming.

    10
I just finished watching the entire episode of: The Empress Malina & Red Eyed Tree Frog Man! Those two episodes were hilarious. My favorite moments would have to be when Kronk hits Yzma over the head with the bananas because he was confused and then it was so hilarious in the end when he did it again and he said: Oh No You Dont, Uh Or No I Dont. That cracked me up. Also I liked when Kuzco said: Pacha Dont Preach. I was dying laughing and then I liked the part when Kuzco tried to save the baby from the sharp knifes in the barrel and then his tongue got caught under the wheel and when he spoke it came out all funny. This was the first time that I actually laughed through the entire episode. I loved it, I give it a solid 10!moreless
  • Just didn't seem as good as the first two episodes. Some work definately needs to be done.

    4.0
This episode I found was very hard to concentrate on and stay focused. It didn't seem to have good storylines and the end of the episode just ended. It had no conclusion or anything, it was a really bad cliff hanger. Just the plots Yzma and Kronk came up with didn't seem very good. They were dull and pointless. Maybe this is just a duddy episode, which I hope it is. If the rest of the episodes are going to be like this, I'm not sure I can watch the show much longer. And the show might just have one season because I'm sure I'm not the only one thinking these things.moreless

Kuzco: Okay? I'm Red-Eyed Tree Frog Man!
Malina: Oh, Kuzco, I didn't see you there. You still a frog?
Kuzco: Malina, I got a schedule to stick to but if you like to come over to my lillypad...
      Malina: You are so unbelievable.
Kuzco: She says I'm so unbelievable and walks off. What's with her?

    • Kuzco: Pull the Lever, Kronk! (he pulls it, and a giant stone foot falls on Kuzco)

    • Kuzco: You know there are an awful lot of shows on tv that dont star me, so consider yourself lucky to be watching a show that does star me, Kuzco all righty, thats the theme music que.

    • Kronk: (sucking his thumb in a cave) Make it didn't happen, monkey. Make it didn't happen.

    • Kronk: Wait, you didn't happen to see me unscrew my head and I was Yzma did you?
Kuzco: No, I think I'd remember that.

    • Yzma: He he he! I have the perfect plan to get rid of Kuzco. Step 1: We turn him into a prize winning race llama. Step 2: We bet all our savings on him. Step 3: He comes in first and we win millions. Step 4: We buy a little house in the country and you can buy those non-stick pans you're always talking about.

    • Kuzco: (in his mind) Hotty Hot Hot Hot-- Holy Toledo. Is that a zit?... Don't say it out loud. Don't say it out loud. (Out Loud) You have a zit!
Malina: Okay, eagle eyes. Yes, I have a tiny blemish. Is this gonna throw off your groove?

    • Pacha: Kuzco did you have a bad childhood experience with frogs?
      (Flashback.)

      Kuzco: Nooooooooo.

    • Kronk: (Reffering to Malina who is really Yzma) Aren't you going to save her?
Kuzco: Nah. Frogs have special powers like walking on walls and eavesdropping on secret evil plans.

    • (Dramatic music plays as the camera zooms in on the elixir. Only a small puff of smoke comes out)
      Kuzco: Is that it?
Yzma as Kronk: Yep, that's pretty much it.

    • Drive Thru Voice: Welcome to Secret Lab, can I take your order?
      Kronk: Secret lab burger?
      Kuzco: Nah.

    • Kuzco: So c'mon is it a deal? Are you going to hand over the antidote or just stand there decomposing?

    • Malina: So now we're both stuck like this?
Kuzco: For now, but we'll be back to normal after the break.

    • Pacha: Frogs are cool...
Kuzco: (zoning out) What is it with this guy and frogs? Hello, operator? Can you connect him to someone who cares?

    • (Kuzco coming back around after being knocked out)
Kuzco: (looking up at Yzma) Eww. Fuzzy, out-of-focus Yzma is worse than normal. (vision clears) Ahh! I was wrong. Fuzzy's better! Fuzzy's better!

    • Waitress: For the last time, I did not order a giant box of marshmallows.
Delivery Guy: Well ya could've told me that before I opened it up.

    • Pacha: We're all a part of the circle of-
      Kuzco: Don't even say it.

    • Yzma: Everyone got your emperors, umm frogs. Well let's get chopping.

This is an allusion to a scene from the original movie, and is worded almost exactly the same way.

    • When Yzma is offering Kuzco a choice to either let Malina remain with a toucan beak or to forfeit the throne to her, the entire scene is possibly a reference to The Little Mermaid, in which a similar situation occurs with Ariel.
