  • This is my opinion on the show and how badly I wish I get to see it.

    8.0
Judging from the show's summary and members' review, "The Bride of Kuzco" sounds like the best episode of season one. Now I know why Disney Channel South Africa (also pan-African) refused to show it till this day -- unless I missed it by accident with 2 - 3 other episodes. I wish I get to see it before Season Two is on air. :(

For some reason, also judging from the Yzma part of the show, I'd give it 8 out of 10.moreless
  • Bride of Kuzco

I liked this episode. This was the most romantic episode to me. I think this episode won't be the last episode romantic episode envoving Malina and Kuzco. No one expected Kuzco to marry someone who was not Malina. You also did not think Malina was going to get mad like she did. What you already knew what was going to happen Kuzco was not going to marry the other girl. I did not think that Malina would go back on a picnic. I think this was a great episodemoreless
  • Kuzco finally gets to go out with Malina, but, it changes that he has an arranged marriage and finds out that then he gets to be emperor again,so, he blows her ouff, but when the princess begans changes things, he decides not to marry her, but it's good!moreless

i think that this episode is good and what shocked me is that Kuzco almosted married someone (not Malina) and that it is a possibly that malina actually might like Kuzco deep down. Also, it was kind of cool when Yzma transforms the princess into a frog. Luckily, the princess falls for someone else towards the ending, so Kuzco didn't marry her, however, he couldn't be emperor, plus, he still had to live in the village with Pacha and still go to Kuzco Academy. All in All, this episode was fun and enjoying to watch and if you havn't seen it, see it!moreless
  • Kuzco finally gets that date with Malina . . .

    10
So Kuzco's ultimate wish comes true: he gets a date with Malina! At first we think Malina's only doing it out of pity, but then later in the episode we see her working frantically to make the best possible kuzcocake for their romantic picnic rendezvous. Hey, what do you know! Malina wants to impress Kuzco!

Then all heck breaks loose. Kuzco can become emperor immediately if he marries a stupid and controlling princess. He breaks the date, deservedly gets the kuzcocake on which Malina worked so hard thrown in his face, and almost marries the obnoxious princess; but fortunately, he realizes where his heart truly lies: with his friend Malina.

The side story involves Yzma's ancient mom coming to visit and Yzma and Kronk trying to convince her that her daughter is emperor, which, of course, backfires.

In regard to shippiness, this episode is as good as they come, but humor wise, it was lacking for me. It was sad to see Malina hurt over Kuzco's behavior, and the Yzma mother side story did nothing for me. Side note: Malina looks gorgeous (for an animated character, of course) in her purple evening gown.

All in all, pretty darn good. Kuzco had better make it up to Malina!

  • Perfect Example of How Good This Series Can Actually Be

    10
I know I've probably written this about another episode of this series in the past, but this time there is no comparison, this episode is my absolute favorite one ever! Of course that is probably because of how much that it featured Yzma as a main character. At first, I started to get disappointed when it looked like Kuzco was blowing Malina off, which he actually did, but I'm glad that he redeemed himself in the end. It was nice but odd to see Yzma and Kuzco working together for once and it was very unexpected. I also loved how we got to see Yzma's mother for the very first time and I really hope that she comes back for at least one episode in the next season. This episode was by far a perfect 10/10! :)moreless
