  • McCall protects a lonely wife after a stranger tried to lure her into an affair, breaking into an apartment and murdering a man in the process. Things get even worse when the stranger turns out to be a hit-man. Much better than I thought it would be...moreless

At first, for some reason, I wasn't too sure about this episode. With the neglected housewife and her friend going out for a drink, I didn't think I was going to enjoy this episode. But when the strange man turns nasty with the housewife, things picked up somewhat.

I did find the whole notion that the man was actually a hit-man a bit shoe-horned in (not McCall's instant deduction of the fact), but it thankfully doesn't damage the story too much.

McCall has a bad cold in this episode, showing that even the mighty Equalizer isn't invincible to everything.

Although not one of the 'most down to earth' of episodes, this one is more of a "what if" thriller; but it does that well, ending up as another highly enjoyable tale.moreless
