I liked this episode and felt that it had a good storyline. However, I did feel at some points that the whole "corrupt cops" thing wasn't used to it's full potential, and by later stages they very much came across as standard bad-guys-of-the-week.
Despite that, it was a good story, and also marks the first appearance of Mark Margolis as Jimmy, a street contact of McCall's who is going through an expensive divorce.
As a side note, this was the UK's most watched episode of 1986 and the entire series, clocking up 13.9 million viewers when it was broadcast on Wednesday 12th November 1986.moreless
