For the most part, I found this to be a rather average first season episode, but saved by some good dialogue and scripting.

McCall is hired by a young boy. Again. Just how many times in one season can he be hired by a youngster – it seems to be almost every other episode!

Anyway, much of the episode is again lighter hearted, with McCall's kitchen being messed up by a cowboy plumber. It is not until the climax of the story, with McCall's dark set up to lure the executive into confessing all, that things take a darker turn.

I also found that the ruthless executive's corrupt, murderous past was rather shoehorned in, and not completely explained satisfactorily.

Like the episode before it ('No Conscience'), this episode did very slightly feel like 'filler' material to bump up the episode count, but considering that, it could have come off much worse.
