From right at the beginning when they go, ....This is the evidence." you know this is going to be a pretty gory episode. It does not disappoint.

There is a real bittersweet wrinkle to this story and parts of it are painful to watch, and not just for visceral reasons.

There was some great dialog between Cole and Bishop. Cole had a really out of character, way over the top dream sequence.

One of the cutest women on the show gets her heart broken, the other really has no heart. You do not know for sure which is which until near the end.

The writing - the story and dialog both - went beyond the routine, ordinary good show stuff.

Some interesting interactions are taking place on a certain level between Cole and his boss. It will be interesting to see what comes of that. In order for that to make sense, you will have to see this episode first.moreless
